Manage Monday

Life requires management.

Even if you are not technically a “manager” at your job, having to “be” a manager is unavoidable.

When we became old enough to take responsibility for ourselves, we had to learn to manage. Not only are there physical and emotional demands for ourselves personally to manage, but there are also relationships around us demanding attention as well.

Every good manager could use some help now and then. How can I handle my time more efficiently, keep my emotions under control, juggle my finances to cover what’s needed, spend time with loved ones, exercise, etc., etc……………..

Self help resources abound these days – books, internet, talk shows. Where all this information originated is worth investigating. I have found that the original “self help” book is the Bible. The information in there originated with God, and since He masterminded the universe – His credentials as the ultimate manager surpass anything on the planet !

In the book of Micah, we are told;   to do justly – love mercy – and to walk humbly with your God……..

If I start with these three simple principles, I can better manage my life, instead of  “it”  managing me !
